Course Descriptions
Introduction to Diagnostic Ultrasound
This course includes basic ultrasound theory, ultrasound physics, theory of operation and block diagram components common to all ultrasound systems, including probe types. Course also includes basic troubleshooting and hands-on training on ATL 3000/5000, Acuson 128XP, and HP2500 systems.

Our Advanced Service Training courses include an overview of clinical applications and features, system theory of operation, system level block diagrams, scanning, DICOM fundamentals, methods for improving reliability, recovering from software errors, troubleshooting failures, and the replacement of parts. The hands-on sessions include performing EBQA/PM, accessing power supplies, DVD-R drive trouble shooting, removal and replacement of front- and back-end electronics and repair/exchange parts identification.
